Here is another image from Slide Rock State Park from my recent visit to Sedona. It was taken from a little footbridge that crosses Oak Creek and I was trying to find an interesting element to anchor the upstream view of the canyon. While the use of a polarizer cut down on the reflections off the water’s surface, it may also have detracted some of the colorful light reflected from the canyon walls.
Canon 5D MkII, Contax T* Vario-Sonnar 35-70mm/f3.4
3 frame manual blend HDR, Lightroom 3, Photoshop CS5, onOne FocalPoint 2, Topaz Adjust 5.
It’s been a while since I posted anything, I’ve been so busy with my motocross and taking non hdr photos(lots of people lately). I’ve been really wanting to HDR some stuff but didn’t have time to take anything new so I reprocessed a few of the first few HDR’s I ever took to see how it would turn out.
Please follow my blog, I plan to update it more often
Taken back in the summer soon after I started working up here in Scotland. The Falkirk Wheel still claims to be the only rotating boat lift in the world, linking the Forth & Clyde and the Grand Union Canal.
It is a popular spot for photographers too (nearly 17,000 results on Flickr for ‘Falkirk Wheel’) This one I hope is something a little different, looking over the top of the wheel towards Fife.
More details of the wheel are at the official wheel website here
More of my photos fromn central Scotland are here
These are some shots of the Kremlin and Red Square from a trip this summer to Moscow.[[posterous-content:pid___0]]
