The Ghostly Hallows

A tiny abandoned church sits unused for over 120 years on the Comiaken Hill under the watchful shadow of Mount Tzouhalem.  Father Peter Rondeault originally landed on Vancouver Island and set about building this church in 1880, and it was actively used until 1890 at which point is became a hollow artifact sitting on a hilltop.  Our latest photoblog post “The Ghostly Hallows” showcases all 9 HDR images we captured at this shoot and discusses the history behind the church and the story of the photo-shoot we did that day.  Please feel free to visit for the entire story.
