Crooked Little Speeder Shack

Museums can provide the best photography subjects out there, and when the exhibit is hosted mostly outside it only gets better from there. We’re heading back to the BC Forest Discovery Centre today where we are going to take a look at a classic and historical “Speeder Shack”. These shacks were used as garages to store the railroad speeders in when not in service. This particular one is just so full of wonderful character, it literally speaks for itself. Photographically speaking, that is.

Please feel free to visit our blog “Crooked Little Speeder Shack” for the story behind the photo.

Arriving In Style

Today marks a new day here at Toad Hollow Photography, one we’re pretty excited about! Due to increasing workloads and exciting projects in process and on the horizon, we’ve doubled our staff! Mrs. Toad picks up the digital pen and launches her new career as a blogger by creating a guest blog post, featuring a horse-drawn carriage that was part of the backstory to how our area was originally settled. Without further ado, we present the illustrious and beautiful Mrs. Toad!!

Black As Knight

Exotic and rare sports cars capture the minds and imaginations of almost everyone. Having a chance to photograph an event that showcases some of these epic cars in their best light proved to be a total highlight of our year so far, and this post takes us along as we begin to view some of the cars on display at the Show ‘n Shine at the “Vette to Victoria” weekend hosted by the Victoria Corvette Club.

Please visit our blog “Black As Knight” to see all 6 new HDR images posted and to read the story behind them.
