The Overgrown Courtyard

As we continue to explore Tillicum Lodge, now abandoned for over 17 years, we come around the back of the facility to the service and maintenance area.  All the courtyards to the separate lodges are now nearly completely overgrown, and the silence is truly deafening as we continue our shoot.  It won’t be long now before the entire facility disappears unless some drastic measures are taken as the harsh climate takes it’s toll on the building.  We believe we may have even found the exit to the morgue, and this shot is posted in today’s post.  This continues our latest photoblog series “The Toad And The Lodge“.  Please feel free to visit today’s blog post “The Overgrown Courtyard” to see all 9 new HDR images posted and for the story behind them.
